Depending on the language level of participants we can place students in a wide range of sectors both locally and all over Wales and bordering cities and towns. We constantly update and improve our database of host companies, whilst seeking new and interesting placements in most skill sectors. Our partner companies in Wales are from a variety of sectors, including business, education and industry, and welcome our participants on a regular basis. Many participants are offered extended stays, temporary, or even permanent, employment.

ECTARC found a really good work placement for me which has helped me in my future career. I had the chance to work in different departments and the staff were really friendly. I wish I could have stayed longer!Gina Renner
My placement was a good mix of administration and interaction with pupils. I improved my English and I learnt a good insight into both sides of the job.Sanja Vlahovic
The best part of the programme was the work experience. I had the possibility to feel free to be creative and the opportunity to improve my skills at the same time as taking on new challenges.Christian Martin Gavira
